Steve Backlund is a leader developer, joy activist, a hope igniter, a revivalist teacher, and as Senior Associate Director, is a key part of the Global Legacy (a ministry of Bethel Church in Redding, CA) leadership team. He has a unique anointing to release hope and joy paired with a revelatory teaching gift that creates new wineskins for greater dimensions of God (both personally and corporately). Steve was a senior pastor for seventeen years before joining the Bethel Leadership Team in 2008. He travels extensively throughout the world encouraging churches and leaders, and he has authored a number of books. He is married to Wendy, has three children, and seven grandchildren.
